Gace Edgett
Development Center

In 1978, Erlanger Methodist Church introduced plans for expanding their educational facilities. The decision was made to provide a program that would expand the use of the building throughout the week. A child development center was planned as an outreach ministry of the church. The church approved this new ministry and after satisfying Kentucky’s regulations and requirements, the child development center was opened. The name chosen for the center was the Grace Edgett Child Development Center in memory of Grace Edgett. It was through her estate that the church was able to begin this ministry to children. GECDC is a non-profit organization and is completely self- supporting from the fees that are collected for child care. Erlanger Methodist Church is committed to the ministry of GECDC and recognizes the center as a very important outreach effort for the church.

Methodist Men

Our Methodist Men's group is an incredibly active and dedicated community within our church. They meet on the first Saturday of every month at 8:15 a.m. for devotions, followed by their meeting at 9:00 a.m. Throughout the year, they organize various fundraisers to support mission projects locally and around the world.

The Methodist Men play a crucial role in our weekly food collection for United Christian Volunteers. Additionally, they showcase their culinary skills during events like Chicken Dinner Night, the Ice Cream Social, and the Spaghetti Supper, where attendees can enjoy delicious meals while supporting our church's mission outreach efforts.

Women in Mission

Join the Women in Missions group for a time of prayer, learning about mission activities around the world, and fellowship with other women.

They meet every first Thursday of the month at 11:00 AM in the church parlor. All women are welcome to participate in planning events and promoting organizations that help women and children’s causes. This group also provides financial support to the church, local outreach, and international missions efforts.

Lydia's Workshop

Lydia's Workshop is an outreach ministry that meets monthly to create beautiful handcrafted items. The fellowship during our gatherings is truly special. Our hope is that the items we create bring comfort to those who receive them and remind them that they are in our prayers.
